Here I am down the forum rabbit hole, and I come across Barclays is now allowing SP CLIs. First off, to anyone and everyone who posted DPs about this, I sincerely thank you very much ! I initially came to Barclays with the JetBlue Plus 8 years ago when I learned about travel cards, and since then, I have only requested a CLI one time, taking on a HP. With that, I had accepted I would only look forward to ACLIs, which I was surprisingly given once considering how much I used the card. Over those 8 years, DW and I have acquired 6 Barclays accounts - 4 personal and 2 business cards, so I jumped when I read the DP. Right away I went to work and was approved for CLIs on all personal cards
; the increases ranging from $1000 to $8000. For business accounts, the option is there, yet once you clicked the request link, it stated you would have to call in to discuss a request.
That's awesome, I just looked into it with DOC and stated they'll be HPs and I guess you'll want 0/6, which I am 2/6 or 4/6 lol.
I wanted to get the Barclays AA card before it's canceled, Signup bonus, then possibly have it changed to Citi without any HP. Also has a very easy signup bonus lol. Philly has mostly AA flying out. Delta (just happens to be whom I typically fly with) has flights basically to their hubs, making connections a must... 🥴
That's great! Congrats on your CLIs

@Gregory1776 That's unfortunate but it's always good to confirm.
IIRC, the SP were re-enabled circa July 2024.
On a side note, you probably have the highest number of Barclays cards on this forum or this planet ...

@NoMoreE46 you're probably right 🤣🤣🤣. Since July 2024? That's wild I just didn't see anything about the SP CLIs til I came across them a few days ago.
ps, think one has to wait at least 6 months in between requests. Found one of the posts mentioning the SP @SPChaser:
@NoMoreE46 thanks! I may have seen that DP when gathering as much info as I could on the SPs.
