Does anyone know if the 5% back on book purchases (limited to $750 spend per month I think) include all purchases on amazon?

from what some people posted on FT, it includes amazon, marketplace and kindle purchases.

Prime subscription payment, and certain stuff such as Amazon payments, do not qualify for the 5%.

Not entirely sure though, since I don't have the card.

My understanding is that t's all Amazon merchandise purchases.  I sure hope so, that's the whole reason I got the darn thing.

Re: Barclays Sallie Mae World Mastercard

I think that the merchants that list products on amazon, are not included in the 5%. Maybe it's because the merchants handle the whole process of shipping and inventory.

I don't really know, but whenever I need to buy something from an amazon merchant, I purchase an email amazon gift card of the same amount using my Sallie Mae MasterCard.
