Barclays normally updates @ every 10 weeks or so, or if a major change. Well last month ( month where they normally would not have updated) they decided to update because I let 2 cards report resulting in a 15 point drop. I wonder why I have yet to see an update this month since I have paid Barclays off (and it HAS reported to all 3) ?
My Barclay FICO has never worked from day one. I have had the card for over a year and it keeps telling me my score is unavailable. I get it from Wal-Mart who pulls TU so I do not know what their problem is.
There is no rhyme or reason to how Barclay pulls these FICO scores in my opinion. I wouldn't rely on them for the most up-to-date picture of your account standing.
I know it's not true FICO scoring, but I use Citi IdentityMonitor. Offers a triple bureau report every month along with FAKO scores.

My UTI went WAY down last month and Barclays is still showing a FICO lower than all the rest that have increased due to my recent UTI reduction. I take their scoring with a grain of salt. I only look at it because it's free.
Barclay's score is up to date when they pull your score. They may not provide it every month, but it is a nice they provide a real FICO 08 score.
I don't think Barclay is the one who decides what constitutes a major change in your CR. I think TU decides when there is a major change and notify Barclay's of the change. If that is the way they monitor your credit, I can't blame them for not spending more money for monthly pulls just because I would like more often updates.
For me, Barclays sometimes don't update my FICO score for > 3 months, but sometimes between as little as 3 days.

Exactly. On the history tab the dots are so sporadic.

Interesting, because mine was first reported in Mid July, and 32 days later in Mid August it got updated, which showed no change in score though.

I got a feeling that they don't update your score unless there's a major update to your report, such as high balances, new inquiry/account
I guess I suspected that since a 15 point drop was significant enough for them to update on an off month, then a zero balance, only 1 card reporting (total util across 6 cards from 13% to 3%) and an inquiry falling off would be enough to get another update
