Barclays US Airways frustrations

So, I applied for a US airways World MC to get the 40k miles last night.  Never had barclays card before; instant decision, but for only 1k CL???

Granted, I have lots of INQ this month as I apped for and got these;

AMEX PRG

AMEX BCE 4k

NFCU Rewards 25k

USAA Amex 6k

USAA World MC 12k

Discover It 4k

Chase CSP 5k

Wells Fargo Home Rebate 3k

Sony Reward Visa 5k

Citi AA Signature 12k

I even called for a recon and they denied a CLI,  should I just close it since it is a toy limit or wait for a CLI later down the road?

Wait for a CLI.  Barclay's is very sketchy of new accounts and inquieries.  Let it age and it will grow.

+1. I'd let it grow with you.

When I went on an app spree recently & applied for a Baraclay's right after 6 other approvals, I had to recon it & only got a $2,500 limit.

I'd sit tight. You probably spooked Barclays. You opened a lot of accounts.
