After being approved for the Sallie Mae card, I called to inquire about the high APR and they said to call back in 6 months for an APR reduction. I logged into my account this morning and noticed the purchase APR now says 0%. I don't think there is a promotional period for this card so what does this mean?
Thanks! Didn't catch that on the application page.
I dont see where it says the current APR when logged in to the Sallie mae card. There is a section on Balance Transfers, that mentions a 0% intro APR until 12/15/2014 and a 3% balance transfer fee, with a link to 'select this offer'. But thats all in the Balance Transfer section, so it must just be for BT, right?
My Priceline.com card has a similar offer. Should I be selecting these offers...

Check the statement.
The statement that came with the card says my Sallie Mae has a 20.99% APR for purchases, there is no 0% promotion for that.
My balance transfer does have a 0% APR for 15 billing cycles. 20.99% after that.
I did look at the Terms & Conditions link from the signup page, and those terms are different than what I received.
Whups, they have TWO versions of the Terms and Conditions link on the signup page!
The one near the top of the page has my correct terms. the ones in the sections near the bottom of the page (the sections numbered 1, 2, etc) have the 12 month intro APR and 12 month Balance Transfer intro APR offer...
