To OP, no one knows not even Wells Fargo does :/ The reps provide different answers and the forums have various results. Some report istant approvals without any relationship others report declines citing the lack of an existing relationship. The web site doesn't specify so it seems like YMMV. I think WF should communicate a clear policy on this.
