Being AU on card and asking for CLI...

If I am an AU on an acct, and either myself or the primary requests a CLI, and they do a hard pull, would it be only for the primary or also for me as the AU?

I would have thought just the primary, but the CSR mentioned it could affect me as well, so I decided not to continue...just seems like I may have been misinformed, does anyone have any experience with this with your cards?

Only the primary account hilder can request CLI. AFAIK

AU's technically piggyback for account age, and credit reporting purposes.I'm fairly certain that if the primary account holder was to ask for a CLI, he/she might take a hard hit but it doesn't affect you.

What card?

Only primary would possibly see a pull, nothing for you, Even some joint accounts do not pull the secondary card holder if added after the initial opening of account.
