PayPal Cashback is indeed losing those benefits in July
Figured as much.
Well on the bright side, I now have a reason to get the Citi DC.

Rewards+ has no AF and a 15k TY points, $1k spend, 3 months offer. You could get a nice bonus with a modest spend requirement, then PC after a year to DC for its better long-term earn rate.
*I think there have been some offers for DC with a bonus, but I think they are targeted and uncommon.
**I went from Prestige to DC 11 months ago, so I doubt you'd encounter any difficulty going from a different member of the TY family to DC. Practices can change, though.
Aren’t Thank You Points similar to other points cards where cash is devalued greatly? I just don’t travel at all, I can’t even go to the store, so I avoid travel cards for that reason.

Correct, cash is a poor value with Thankyou points. You can redeem for gift cards at 1cpp or travel, otherwise you're looking at <1cpp.

My understanding is that you'd only spend about $5k on the card in the first year. If that's the case, then the bonus is a big part of your total first year rewards.
$150 face value of gift cards may only be worth $100 or $125 to you, but it beats $0 of cash!
Yes that is true. I actually don’t mind gift cards as long as they’re 1cpp value so it may be something to look into. It’s gonna be awhile since apparently Citi likes you to have 0 inquiries in 6 months when you have a BK on record which means November (last app was US Bank on 4/29) and everyone here knows I am not that great of a gardener so yeah, time will tell haha.
Guess I've been lucky with electronics and such that I never had to use extended warranties and such.(Knock on wood) The cell phone coverage will be nice at $800. Guess Verizon will be paid with the ole QS now in July. Thanks for the heads up!

Check that link first. My Aviator Red was eligible, but Savor and DC were not.

Just curious how you check if card is eligible start a claim and it will say yes/no?

Start a claim.
If eligible, it will move to the next screen in the online claims process.
If (apparently) ineligible, it will tell you to call them and the online claims process will not proceed.
