Best CU for benefits,DFCU or NFCU?

Which of these two Credit Unions have the best reward benefits and offer highest credit limits? And which of the two put up the fewest obstacles to membership and credit card approval ie pay stubs, multi credit pulls, high credit score ect?

Whats inconvinient about it?  I always keep my most recent paystub and of course I have last years filed taxes.  A simple scan and hit send on the computer will go to whoever I want it to

NFCU top them all.  Offer the highest limits without needing that blinging high credit score.  They are HP happy but most of the time the HP is worth it with them.  Rewards on CC's ehh are so so with average 1% cash back

Re: Best CU for benefits,DFCU or NFCU?

I'm not familiar w/DFCU. But Navy seems to be one of the best CUs. They are big w/hoop-jumping, though. Some people get huge CLs w/o having any proof of income, waiting period, etc. Others, like myself, have to jump through numerous hoops. Some end up with multiple HPs on one or more CRs because they are "HP Happy." That said, it is definitely worth the hoop-jumping for their generous CLs and peace of mind that they don't do FRs or CLDs like other CCs.

DFCU and NFCU both have treated me very well. Ive send both paystubs and taxes just so they dont ask me for them later on

Having both of these cards in my wallet appeals to my good judgement. I like my Chase card and the game plan is to add a Discover card in march.Around the same time I would like to include NFCU. In the mean time I hope to grow my limit with DFCU. Their services seem excellent.

Re: Best CU for benefits,DFCU or NFCU?

Being a member of DCU, I'm not certain why (other than freebie FICO score) and good rates on loans and what not, and a reasonably decent web interface, that they really outpace the average CU with the possible exception of their online interface.

NFCU on the other hand may be one of the most advantageous lending institutions to be a member at, at least in the current market and economy.

Much as DCU has been good to me personally (more than happy with my auto loan and my secured card simply works); if I had NFCU access I wouldn't be dealing with DCU in the first place I don't think, and that's even with my having banked with DCU back in 2000-2001 and still having an account dating back to that time.
