Do credit card companies really figure this tradeline into their algorithm ?

Don't worry about credit card companies as a whole but it'll help with any lending with on time payments reporting.

Agreed. Too much information on credit reports already.

I live in an apartment by Mid-America Apartments here in Charlotte and they are the first management company to add an entry to my CR. Needless to say, that should give anyone an incentive to ALWAYS pay on time, because that is HUGE!
