My BK should drop off (finally) 6/2012. My cards and limits are listed in my signature. The Delta Amex is 2 yrs old, and started at 6k. Alliant is also 2 yrs old, and started at 5k.
I'm curious about when you got your first AMEX card...i.e how many years post BK. The Delta Amex is my dream card but I am not planning on applying till I am at least eight years out (four years out now)
I am about 4 years post CH7 BK, and my highest CL's are:
$16,100 NFCU CC
$5,000 NFCU NavChek
$3,450 Barclays iTunes
and then the rest are around $2k or less.
I am curious to getting a AMEX ...when were you approved for the amex cards u have?

With VERY rare exceptions, AMEX is not BK-friendly...period. You can try, but nearly every time you apply it will be a wasted INQ with a BK on your report.
I have green at zero balance that survived bk and have scores in mid 600's they were doing SP during bk but let me keep card ....have cap 1 with 1500 limit and another 1250 just got barclay ap with 2300 limit

My bk was discharged in 2006. I applied and got 3 "starter" cards in 2008. It wasn't until this year that I apped for anything and got 2 cards from Barclays - one an Apple financing card with a CL of $2400 and one a US Airways card at $3500.
