Blispay Message after applying

Just applied for the Blispay Visa and got message that said "Your application for the Blispay Visa Card has been submitted successfully but we need to speak with you before we can make a decision." and then gives me a number to call. Only open M-F. Anyone else got this message? Is it likely to be an approval or denial?

More than likely they need to verify something with your application, should be no biggie.

+1 it's more than likely verification. Seems to be pretty common with Blispay, and they just ask a few questions.

They gave me the message on Tuesday night.. Called Wednesday they asked what my address is and 2 credit card companies that I have accounts with. I was approved $4400, more then likely just verification before an approval.

Thanks everyone! Did they ask about income at all in addition to the adress and CC companies when you called in, I thought it was rather strange that there was no place to list it on the application?

I have heard from a few people that had to call in to verify, that they were asked about income when they called.

They didn't ask a thing about income for me

It seems so strange how they don't ask for income typically. I wonder how they determine the SL? I guess just the overall credit profile?

Maybe an average of all of your other CLs?

Most likely, they gave me a 1/3 of my highest limit card, they probably look at your payment history and limits and determine your SL another theory I've read is that people with lower Inq get better limits but we will probably not know how they determine limits anytime soon
