Re: Blue about Blue Cash

I have to agree w/ sororitygenius.

I've seen people with scores I've never thought would get a card approved, and other's in the 700's turned down.

I think with what's going on with the economy, things may tighten back up.

Re: Blue about Blue Cash

I have seen poor scores get the Delta, but NEVER a bk in 2 years.  Amex will usually not touch you til 7, just like Discover.

Anyone got an Amex with a less than 7 yr old BK on file?  Please post.

Re: Blue about Blue Cash

I would call and ask for APR decrease - be friendly and see if it simply possibly. tell them that you would like an APR that is more aligned with your APR on other cards.

I did this when I first got my Blue Cash 3 months ago. They were friendly. Transferred me to the "APR Dept" or whatever the name is, and within two minutes my APR when from 17.49 to 14.25. It tooks minutes and I think its at least worth a try. Again, just be friendly and ask them if this is possible to be aligned with other APRs.

Best of luck OP!
