I don't know if has lower underwriting that the other Amex credit cards, such as the Everyday, which is better in every way (hey, a rhyme!)  The blue simply came first, not as a lower level card.

I opened a blue card July of last year to get in the door with AMEX. With a BK 7 on my profile. Super basic card. May of this year I applied for the green card And I got approved. This month I tried to PC the blue card the only Option they gave me is the cash magnet. Not a everyday Which is weird.
