Re: BoA Premium Rewards Grocery/Dining Credit

My recommendation is keeping Premium Rewards card. It effectively does not have AF (the airline credit covers it). Also, for "other expenses", it beats Chase Freedom Unlimited. For travels, you can purchase tickets directly from airlines or other websites, but not via e.g. AMEX portal, and it has some travel related insurance coverage. It might not be the optimum travel card but among the cards, it has the lowest AF with such coverages.

When I received the card, I saw no way that I get benefit from Chase Freedom unlimited. Therefore, I did PC it to Freedom to use it quarterly 5% cashback. Anyway, recently I received one offer from Chase to apply for Freedom Unlimited again including SUB. I will see whether there would be any way to get benefit from this card, vs BOA Premium Rewards card, and I may apply for this card. Otherwise, I do prefer gardening Smiley Happy

I hear you and it is kind of a toss up with something to lose either way.

Assuming the travel credits will continue to work for AA GCs I probably will keep it for another year, even though I already have plenty of AA miles, AA vouchers and AA gift cards and no travel plans in sight.

This offer finally showed up in my account. When I signed in today, I got a popup about it. Yay!

Re: BoA Premium Rewards Grocery/Dining Credit

Yes. It worked with instacart grocery. No dining was required :-)

Yes.  Mine posted a few days after statement closing.  Going to end up with a -$50 balance when my payment posts (I always schedule payments as soon as statements close) but that will be easy enough to spend.

Re: BoA Premium Rewards Grocery/Dining Credit

Good to know. In case they don't credit my current-statement Uber Eats spend (it does, after all, earn 5.25% as "online purchases" on Cash Rewards), I can always put an Instacart order on it.

Re: BoA Premium Rewards Grocery/Dining Credit

I never got a notification but for giggles and grins I used my card at the supermarket last week to see what would happen.

Confirmed it coded as "GROCERY STORES,SUPERMARKETS" so I'll have to remember to follow up here after my next statement closes.

Re: BoA Premium Rewards Grocery/Dining Credit

Following up.

Statement posted about a week after my last comment above.  No $50 credit.

However I did get a $50 grocery & dining statement credit posted to the card last night.

I never did get any kind of notification that I was eligible for it.
