For those that have hit 99k exposure, what are you putting down for your income and housing payment in the CLI request form? Also, what is your average monthly balance?
I ask because I've been stuck on 40k limit on each of my BofA Cash and Travel cards (80k total) for the last year. I've tried asking for both 50k each, 45k each, and even mixing it up with 50k on one and 45k on the other. All denials. I put down $200k income, $0 housing payment. The Cash card has an average monthly balance of about $500-1000. It is specifically used for online purchases outside of Amazon.com since I have an Amazon card as well. The Travel card has an average $2 monthly balance for a subscription service.
Please advise. Thanks

Hi all,
I just happened to come across this thread. I have a BofA Cash Rewards Visa, current credit limit 17k. I got it in 2011, want to say started about 10k limit. I never requested CLI but several years ago they bumped me to 17k.
Just wondering how much of CLI I should request?
I consistently spend about 1000-1500/mo, let it report but always PIF. My other 2 cards barely used and always report 0. FICO provided by BofA is 821. Probably don't need the CLI, but since there's no HP wouldn't mind bumping it up a little bit.
@Anonymous You can probably ask for $99,900 and BofA will counteroffer with an amount they are comfortable approving. However, in most cases lenders cap increases at 3X the current credit limit so in your case you can ask for $51,000.
