sounds about right my friend has 2800, and I see plenty of 3k, mine was 3k as well 
this week but hey I got 4 cards in a month =) and a CSP so they were wondering why I wanted more. I just explained Chase Sapphire checking and freedom all work together and that I<3 them
500 here... but thats only because i only had store cards prior to this one.
going for 5k in july(1 year ann.) jk but seriously at least 3k.
I got $5k and at the time of approval had about a year of credit history.
