CITI AAdvantage Platinum Select Visa CLI question

Has anyone ever received a soft-pull CLI on their AAdvantage card? I hear alot of SP increases for Diamond Preferred & Simplicity cards, but never for American Airlines. I  have a pretty good CL with them ($15K) but over the years never received a CLI, so I was wondering - -

I also have $15K on that card and have not had an auto CLI.  Never asked either.  But since I hardly use it I wasn't expecting any.

Re: CITI AAdvantage Platinum Select Visa CLI question

I just called on our AA CitiBusiness World Account with a whopping $1k Line and just passed 6 months... she went through and I asked for an additional $1k to bring it to $2k and she said it would have to be forwarded for review and credit "may" be pulled.

I told her not to continue.

She then gave a speach that they review every 6 months and since this is a fairly new account they may review it themselves soon and may increase it without me asking. yawn.

I have had the card for almost a year, no cli. Whenver I call they say it will be a hard and then I tell them to stop. I am assuming the same for the best buy card since citi took over?

Re: CITI AAdvantage Platinum Select Visa CLI question

I've noticed Citi is similar to Chase in regards to auto-CLIs. Unless spending a high % of the CL monthly, an auto-CLI is unlikely. I had to take a hard pull to get a CLI on my AAdvantage. My mom (business AAdvantage) had a hard pull CLI from 6k to 12k and then an auto-CLI to 20k several months later (avg. spend 1-5k monthly).
