Re: CITI Diamond or TYP ?

Diamond is a nice looking card, but the rewards are not good.

My TYP has a EMV chip which makes it look even better LOL! TYP has a pretty good reward system. I like my TYP card.

Re: CITI Diamond or TYP ?

From cmparing both, it seems that the TYP has a better reward structure. No concerned about BT. Both have the concierge.

One is a mastercard, the other is a Visa. Seems like the TYP has better features.

Any Diamond preferred users out there for the defense?

Re: CITI Diamond or TYP ?

Also i believe if you go to the branch to apply they have a new promotion for the TYP, i didnt really see what rewards you get cus I was in a rush to pay my CC on lunch break. But from the little flyer they have on the table... they are showing the TYP as a WE mastercard... dunno if that holds true or it is just a marketing strategy...

When you apply for the TYP it only has an option for the VISA. Interesting.....

Re: CITI Diamond or TYP ?

I think that is standard if you just apply at the citi website

Re: CITI Diamond or TYP ?

Citi TYP has a better rewards like previously mentioned. I product changed from a Simplicity to TYP world MC. It didnt come with a chip, from my understanding you have to request one.

Re: CITI Diamond or TYP ?

Citi TYP has better rewards structure.

The offer in the branch is for the TY card, not TYP. The offer is 5X gas, groceries and drug stores. It could come as WE, world, or platinum MC, depending on which citi approves you for. Typically it comes as world MC, and with sufficient spending or through other means, citi could upgrade it to world elite MC.
