They're fine for tissue and cat treats, but otherwise.......poor quality goods.
i agree one billion percent. we hate wal-mart. overcrowded, dirty, & poor service.
target beats the tar out of wal-mart any day!
Yeah Walmart is not the best but they do have a few staple things i get there cheaper then Target. Walmart's downfall is that they do not have weekly circular like Target. I love to comparison show (especially with the supermarkets).
I am just upset that they dropped my limit on IKEA to $100. What can not get for $100 at IKEA? ...hmmm NOTHING
Aaaahhh, you can get PLENTY (ie the kind of junk I always fill my cart with because it costs 'nothing' and that results in my spending twice what I intended to when I get to the checkout) at IKEA for $100, but obviously not any of the stuff that would lead you to want an IKEA card in the first place - you clearly don't get a furniture store card so you can buy some funky kitchen utensils and a $5 lamp, you get a furniture store card because you intend to give the store in question some serious furniture-buying business.
Sadly, I think that's just GE for you. The only GE card I have is my Banana Republic store card - that hasn't seen any action since the previous balance was paid off in April, so I'd better use it for something soon if I don't want them to close it. They gave me an uber-generous CLI from $500 to $600 back in June - I just checked, and the CL is still intact, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it slashed to virtually or nothing or closed altogether if I don't take it out for some 'exercise' soon. Sigh.

FYI, GE Money is using Equifax to drop limits. As far as my IKEA card that is all i was buying out of there was furniture. Oh well sock drawer it will be. The economy really sucks.
I hope they up your limit back to something usable before too long. The economy does indeed suck.

There might be some light at the end of the tunnel. I just got a CLI on my OldNavy (GEMB) card from 500 to 800. So far Amex is the only company to CLD me. (Whew -- tho now my lonely old Amex Delta Skymiles card is my lowest limit at 500, no longer tied with OldNavy.)
Pray they do not cut you as well. I posted on a different forum about a friend of mine that had her OLD NAvy card cut from 900 to 300 back in the summer. She uses her card a lot. After I told her recently about what is going on with CCs. Now she understands why.
