CLI at activation?

Last week I was approved for a $500 CL Capital One card.  I was wondering what are the odds that I could get a CLI at activation?  Since I got the card, two of my scores have jumped (TU from 642--> 655 and EQ from 632 --> 663)  just from paying off one of my cards that had a balance on it.  I've read a little about Capital One not really being ones to offer this, but figured I'd ask and see what the experts thought.

I figure it wouldn't hurt to try, but what do I say when I call?  Or should I wait a few months and try?

I do not have any experience with Cap 1, I just do not have their card, but make shure, when youask CLI on activation, they won't hard you again.

Re: CLI at activation?

They turned me down for one on activation. They said to give it some time. I did call back around the second month to get it increased and was sucessful. Now, however, I have received letter's stating that I could not get another increase as it had not been six months since the last one was issued.
