Hello everyone, I was wondering has anyone in here ever tried requesting credit limit increase on a credit card they have never used? It's activated but never actually used. I have a Lowes credit card that I have not used since I got it, I activated the card but never used it. What do you guys think about it?

Thanks for the quick reply, I will do that. Do they have a chat feature or should I do it over the phone?

I've heard Lowes cards can give rather huge limits and increases. If it's a new card and you're trying for an immediate CLI, they might do that. If you've had it for a while and haven't used it, they might want to know why you want the credit increase.
Wow, It took them less than a second to tell me my application was declined. I didn't even get a counter offer..

I agree, it definitely has to do with me not using the card. I will just go buy something tomorrow let it report then pay it off. I will do that a few times then try again. Thanks for all the help.

I've gotten rather significant increases on my own Lowe's with very little usage, and by only using the link on the website (no calls to Credit Solutions - yet).
I'm inclined to think the OP's TU score might be a significant factor. Unless the TU score can support it, not even Credit Solutions will give an increase.
Just my 2¢.
