CSP $400 bonus second time?

I got approved for CSP sometimes in july 2013 and cancelled the card before july 2014 to avoid the af. I was reading the offer term and it stated the followings. Should I reapply for the bonus again and will I get it? Thanks guys

Wouldn't recommend it, really. You only closed it a year ago (to avoid the fee) and opening it again is going to make it obvious to Chase what you are trying to do. Not going to make you look good!

It is possible to do better than $400 for 40K UR's.

You can answer this yourself with the information that you already have. What does July 2014 + 24 months equal?

Have you done this with other Chase cards? Banks are getting good at catching this type of behavior.

I dont think it is July + 24 months, it's 24 months from whenever the bonus was received (at least going by the quote).   They don't want to give the bonus too often, when you last closed is less important in this case (for Citi it does matter).

Which is why they have the 24 month rule.   OP might feel the potential bonus is worth the chance of being rejected.

It's not only declined. He could be blacklisted. But if a silly sign up bonus is worth it, then go for it.

But how likely is that.   Also, IMO using phrases like "silly sign up bonus" is in itself, well silly.   For some at least, THE attraction of Chase cards is the sign up, so being blacklisted from that silly little issuer is fine.
