CSP Promo???

So I've read that people have been saying that if you apply at a chase branch for the CSP the promo is $2000 spend instead of $3000.... Is there a way I can ask Chase to change my spend requirement to $2000?.. I applied online so I got the $3000 spend..

Thanks

Re: CSP Promo???

Just call the number on the back of your card and tell them you were in a branch and saw an ad for $2k spend, and they will honor it. It's what I did.

just send a secured message now.

Chase is pretty nice about this usually.

Even if they don't........there's many ways to reach 3k in spending easily *wink*.

Also, aren't you buying air tickets? If you are still buying those air tickets, this wouldn't even matter.

Re: CSP Promo???

Yeah but 2,000 is better than 3,000... I plan to only purchase 2 tickets using my CSP when I get it, the total will be $2600 ish and the other 2 tickets that I neeed will be paid for by my dad using his Amex MR points.

So I rather save that extra 400 lol

you have 3 months to spend 400.

It's really easy.

In my opinion if you do not have any problems meeting 3k spend, don't ask for it.

You're better off "maximizing" your internal scores with them by asking for less "discounts" of these sorts.

Re: CSP Promo???

I would go with just meet the 3k spend. Its pretty easy, especially if you are already charging 2600 for travel. Take some friends to a nice resturaunt or charge some reimbursible transactions for family, friends or your employer.

I hit 4k on my CSP in the first month just from regular charges, charging a car payment, and ordering some computers for my company through the UR mall.

The less notes on your file with the CC company, the better.
