Cabela's Club Visa

I applied for a Cabela's Club Visa and got the "7-10 business days" reply, so i called about it. I was denied, but I was told on the phone that they are looking for a 685 FICO, and they also look at previous purchases made at Cabela's.

I've never shopped at Cabela's before, so excuse me for my ignorance, but how would they know about your previous Cabella's purchases?  Do they take your name and SSN when you checkout?

They pulled EQ for sure, not sure about the others.

@ RBH - good question, I am guessing they just look at your name and address info. I am just telling you what the bank rep said on the phone.
