Call BoFA for CLI after automated CLI?

Just looking for more data on this. I requested a CLI on BoFA website and they approved me to go from 1k -> 2.9k. I read in one thread you can immediately call them and get even more by speaking to a credit analyst. But I only saw one guy say this. Is there anymore data on whether that is legitimate? I want to make the most of my TU hardpull.

I have literally double dipped with the “Increase Credit Line” link before and it was successful. I asked for $3K and it was granted. Then I asked for another $2K and it was granted. I stopped at the double ask because I just didn’t require more than that but I think I could’ve done it again.

It was all done on one TU hard pull. No more than five minutes transpired between my double dip.

didn't work 7-10 day message. Now I'm woried and thinking about not calling in.

I did this 3 years ago. Had 5K limit, clicked the luv button and asked for 15K, was only granted 10.1K (that .1 honestly killed me lol). Called backdoor number to speak to analyst, was instantly approved for 15K.

Ugh, I feel bad for saying it could be done and it not working for you but it definitely worked for me.  As far as calling in, you already have the one hard pull.  It's possible you're at the limit of what they are willing to extend based on your profile.

A phone call would add a human element and give you an option to plead your case.  Considering they were already willing to extend you an instant CLI, you are in a good place with them.  That being said, a phone call will likely add more scrutiny as it then becomes more or less a manual review.

I'm including screenshots of my double dip for data points.  Each resulted in an instant approval with immediate access per the notice but there was some delay between seeing the available limit increase, seeing the notice on my account screen and congratulatory emails being sent out.  

Sequence:

Luv button - $3K - Approved - from $5K to $8K

Luv button - $2K - Approved - from $8K to $10K
