Called Discover "Press 1 for a BT offer"

I called Discover to switch to the gold card design and after putting in my SSN last 4 and before I was transfered to an account manager I was prompted to "press one for a balance transfer offer" so naturally I mashed the number 1. I was connected to a "balance transfer specialist" who then apologized that there was no offer on my account.

Has anybody else had this prompt? Has anybody claimed an offer this way?

LMAO!!!  You sure are eager to play with Disco since your upgrade!

Just switch it online when you're logged in.  BT offers will start flowing in after a little while as they review monthly.

Dang, we knew Disco plays with our heads via apps and cli buttons but now they wanna mess with ya on the phone, crazyness

I would've switched online but the catalog is still for the secured card... When I login it shows the gold card next to welcome but not in the catalog...
