There are several advantages I find in having the PRG:
1: Flexible credit line
2: Signup bonus
3: 15K bonus points after $30K spend
4: Charge $$ does not factor in util %
The rewards earned are so so, and not a component for keeping.
My question is whether having flexible credit line in some way can limit credit limits on my other revolving cards. If having the PRG impacts my credit line on other revolving AMEX accounts then I have one more reason to cancel come AF time.
When I was initially approved for the PRG it was my go-to card for all purchases. However as time passes I'm now finding that my 5% cashback reward cards are getting the most used. If having the PRG hinders my spending limit potential on my other cards then a cancellation is in order.
Thanks for any help.

If you don't travel an ton i wouldn't keep it when AF comes up , i actually prefer the EDP for my personal spending i don't travel enough and that 175 AF is pretty steep. I would take the 50k signup bonus for prg tho if you can get it.

For the PRG I earned 30,000 MR after $3000 spend. I redeemed that already.
I stand to earn another 15K MR bonus if I spend $30K before the year is over. UNFORTUNATELY I dont find much value in that because its only an extra .5 point per $ spent.

I would really take an look at EDP , if you want an MR card that is still. I guess that would depend on your spending as well. 3x at supermarkets with 6000 cap and 2x for gas isn't bad, but there is an 95 dollar AF. there is also 50% point bonus for 30 swipes per month. I find it an better option for me. If you want an non af option theres is ED with 2x on groceries and 1x on everything else
Once you meet the time criteria, just transfer as much CL as you can to the BC and close it. Assuming that is your real goal!

Unfortunately the PRG doesn't have a CL that can be transferred. If there is a way to transfer NPSL to a revolver I'm all in.

Good point! Too late at night.

LTlurker, I know you can't possibly stuff all those cards in your siggy in a wallet. I am also guessing that most of those cards have their purpose of reducing UTIL ratio. May I ask what's really in your wallet?
Day to day use: Blue Cash, Forward, Fid Amex, Cap One QS. Planning on SD the Cap One and Fidelity, and using gift cards
I also take Cash Plus when going to the vet if I haven't maxed out the quarter.
