I know Chase allows you to have both a CS and a CSP (I have both) but I heard Amex doesn't allow both a BCE and BCP.
Then, can you have 2 BCPs and pay two AFs to take advantage of 12,000 in 6% groceries or have two BCEs somehow?
that's interesting question..i dunno the answer but hopefully some1 will be able to clear it out for you (and me)
oh btw, having both CS and CSP works good?
i had both but then figured that both cards are basically same when it comes to rewards so i closed CS and kept CSP...

I just recently got the CSP for the 50k bonus.. I don't plan to keep it past year 1.

You can have a BCE/BCP
I eventually want another AMEX and have a great MSD so the backdating on another card would be awesome, but I really don't see any other card in their lineup that I want beside my BCP. Adding a no annual fee BCE as a backup would be nice as it's cash back catagories still beat most of my other cards.

IIRC, a friend of mine had his BCP closed by Amex when he applied and got his BCE but maybe I'm remembering it wrong.
Is getting two BCE or two BCP not possible?

Idk about two of the same because of the caps. You can have one of each
Someone else can chime in
I had an Amex rep on twitter tell me --- yes you absolutely can have a BCE and BCP.
