I currently have 2 Quicksilver cap one cards.
I was wondering if I would be able to get approved for a third card of another kind with them.
Are they pulling all three bureaus still? I have my equifax with no inquiries.
You can have up to 5 Capital One cards. No more than 2 subprime cards. Yes, they still pull all 3 credit bureaus.
Cap 1 = The Triple Puller. As they called in Hockey "The hat trick"

I can vouch for this. August 10th this year 3 INQs come off for 1-card

sorry for my ignorance, but which cards would be subprime for Cap one? Which one would you recommend if I have 2 quicksilver now?

Subprime are the Secured Mastercard, Journey Student Rewards, Platinum and QuicksilverOne Rewards. The regular Quicksilver is a prime card.
Cap One have only a couple of other prime personal cards. See which one fit your spending.
Savor= 4% on dining and entertainment, 2% on grocery. $95 AF
SavorOne= 3$ on dining and entertainment, 2% on grocery. No AF
VentureOne= useless card, don't get this one!
Venture= 2X miles on every dollar. $95 AF

Do upgrades stay subprime? For example I had a student journey card that upgrade to a quicksilver.

^ this.
I had 4 or 5 at once.
I currently have 3.
Cap One pulls all three CRs but can be very generous.

TU/EX here. Not instant approval, though.
