I'd like to know his spending habits. I'm sure there is more to this.
in my wallet:
Amex Zync : NPSL (main card always pif)
Discover More: 6,500$ (no balance)
Chase Sapphire : 5000.00$ (no balance)
Citi Thank You Card backed by Amex 8,200$ (no balance)
Amex Blue Cash 21,000$
Best Buy Store Card : 5,700$ (I'm a nerd so used a lot)

Might be, but if you spend alot and PIF there really shouldn't be any issue.

im just curious too....if someone pays in full, and on time, why would spending habits matter?   just asking cause ive never heard that being discussed anywehre before

Yea I mean you can run a card up every month and PIF by statement close and there shouldnt be one ioda of problem with that!

Allegedly, Amex has a very complicated program used to calculate member risk. I've read rumors about first purchase modeling, red-zoning, paying for legal fees, marriage counseling, or other behavior normal people would deem innocuous sending up red flags. Amex also tends to keep an eye on new apps and debt.

 

We'll never know how common FRs are. It's doubtful a huge part of their demographic frequents credit forums.

That may be important to them, but as long as the consumer a) is not late with them b) is handling their other accounts properly it should not matter at all what they purchased. AMEX with this holier than thou attitude with their products is a real turn off.

Concord, USAA Credit Check Monitoring Premium is exactly the same as Credit Secure, for half the price.
