Long story short...opened a cap 1 card in 2002, fell behind on payments. Account went into collections with Northland. Settled the account for less than owed back in 2009. Still showing on my cr with a 0 balance,settled comment. Can I get this deleted? If so who do I need to contact??? Thanks

You will need to send Cap 1 a goodwill letter asking them to remove the their entry on your report since it's been paid.  Some companies do it, some don't.

Since you settled for less than the full amount, I'm pretty sure you can also do a pay for delete, offering to pay them the remainder or some portion of the remainder in exchange for deleting the tradeline.
