zero balance on their card is fine other trade lines are reporting balances -FICO likes to see no more than 1/2 TL accounts showing a balance--so thats one less to worry about IMO---also yes you can use for something minor every so many months if you choose to show activity but i was advised by a Cap 1 Account Specialist that they wouldnt cancel account for non use unless you called and advised them to do so- as long as account is good standings...so.........
