In my email inbox this morning:
"Great news! We’ve upgraded your current Visa Platinum card to a Visa Signature card with new premium benefits.
Your new card is on its way.
It should arrive within 10 business days—until then, use your current card as usual.
It will have a new expiration date and 3-digit security code.
These key account details are NOT changing:
Card number
Credit limit (emphasis is mine. Limit stands at $6k for nearly 3 years)
Interest rate (APR)
Billing cycle
Payment due date"
**************
I didn't request this or anything else for this card in about 3 years. Curious, as I thought your limit had to be $10k minimum for Signature. I've been rotating through other cards and, after mothballing this one for over a year, I went back to charging about $1k monthly on this card 4 months ago.

Congrats on the upgrade. There is no set credit limit amount for a card to be a ‘Signature’ Visa. It’s entirely set by the creditor and they prefer cards to be Signature versions because they get higher merchant fees per transaction. There are plenty of posters here that have had cards issued as Signature versions from various creditors with limits as low as $500.
Congratulations! I have one myself, with a CL of $10k. I do know that Penfed has a minimum $5K credit line on their own Signature Visa's.

Congrats!
Generally, Visa Signatures are a minimum of $5k and Visa Infinites are $10K.
@sjtwrote:Congrats!

As said by Irish, this isn't true anymore for many issuers, from Cap One we have seen both $500 VS and WEMC
Which is why I wrote "generally."
Amazon Visa and US Bank are the only ones that I know of the issue Siggys less then $5K limits.
