Capital One Account Combination

Well this morning the sixth statement cut on my Venture and Quicksilver so I tried to combine the accounts and it worked! Now I have a 23k Quicksilver and I am very pleased. Good luck to anyone who tries to do this. I wasn't sure it would go through based on some things I have been reading in the forum lately.

On another front, I chatted with BofA about combining my travel cards and was told it would be a hard pull. I plan on trying again on the phone in a few months. I am not in a hurry to do that and do NOT want a hard pull for anything.

Congrats on your Cap1  success!

BoA will typically require a HP for any combination so you may need to take that to combine.

Yep, the only certain things in life are death and taxes...and BoA HP for basically anything that isn't an APR reduction!
