Capital One Combine Cards

My fiancee and I both got cards back in 2014 and have recieved large CLI's over the years. In order to increase utilization and decrease the number of monthly bills to keep up with I was wondering if anyone has ever tried adding each other as autorized users and then combining the accounts together as one card. Is this possible with the main owner being the other persons authorized user? I've tried searching the forums and haven't seen an answer yet lol. Thanks for all your help.

Re: Capital One Combine Cards

To be able to combine or move limits, you have to be the primary on the acount and not an AU.

In order to combine cards through Capital One, the primary cardholder needs to have 2 cards to combine. In order to combine your balances, you would have to apply for a joint credit card account and transfer the balances. Capital One doesn't currently offer joint accounts.
