Today, I applied for a credit line increase from Capital One Platinum card. I had this credit card since last year of April. Back in September, I received a credit line increase of $500.00. my fico score is: EX-614, TU-620, and EQ-627. My account is in very good standing and was never late. What are my chances of getting approved?
Usually CLI requests are approved instantly with Cap1. If you received a 2-3 day message instead, it's probably a denial.
I believe Cap1 CLIs are a SP? If so, can't see a reason not to hit the love button.
Since it is a soft pull... it can't hurt to apply. They only give CLI every six months so you should be in the clear to apply for a CLI. Good luck!! Keep us posted.

Is this your only card?
What is holding your scores down after a year in good standing with the Cap1 card?

If you didn't get an immediate answer, it is likely declined. Depending on what day you applied back in September you might be a little early, but the good news is that hitting the 'button' too soon doesn't reset the clock, so if that's the problem you can try again in a few days once your six months are up.
If you want to know for certain when your last CLI was, you can either ask a CSR on chat or the phone, or you can check under "Statements and Documents". (Note that this is not under 'messages' like you might expect, or at least I did.)
In this screenprint of my own account, the documents titled "Account Change Confirmation" were from when I was successful in getting a CLI, and the documents labeled "Credit Limit Increase Request" were from when I tried to early and got denied (before I knew to look here).
From this list, I know I'll be good to ask for another CLI on this card on (or after) June 4. ![]()
Hope this helps! ![]()
Edited to add: My counting of the months was one off... you're clearly past six months.
I'm leaving the rest since it might still be useful.

No, I have a retail store credit that I'm paying off, the balance was previously 2870.00 now it is down to 2,548.00 of 3.000 line of credit. That account is also in very good standing. My balance on my capital one is now 1377.00 with available credit of 122.50. I'm paying twice a month on this card so that I can get the balance lower faster.
The high utilization combined with your scores is likely the reason they didn't give you a CLI this time, but you're moving in the right direction. Once you get the balance paid down they will probably loosen the purse strings a bit.
It's ironic that when we need credit, it's more difficult to get, yet if you have a small balance with lots of available credit, they'll gladly give you even more. ![]()
Capital One has been good to me (through both thick and thin) and I suspect eventually they'll come around for you, too. ![]()
