Hello:
I keep seeing in posts about the Capital One Credit Steps program? What is that? I have a capital one secured. Can someone please tell me more.
Which Capital One card is the credit steps? I would like to look more into this. I have the Capital One Secured. Is this the same thing?

Although the secured card can receive increases, it has not to my knowledge been considered part of credit steps. I know for sure the Quicksilver One and possibly the Venture one are. I have both the secured and the QS1. On the QS1, after having it for a few weeks I received a letter stating that if I made my first five payments on time I would receive a $250 increase (taking my card from the $500 starting limit to $750). I was never given that info with my secured card, however, my secured card was given a CLI of $300 after the 6th statement cut. Also, I received a $1000 increase on my QS1 after my third statement. I will still receive another increase at my 6mo mark...because that will be my credit steps increase.

Credit Steps isn't a card. Lol. Like I said, it's a program rebuilder/starter cards are automatically enrolled in. AFAIK, the Platinum, QS1, and QS all enroll you in credit steps automatically after opening the card.
Hmm. So I have a Capital One Secured. Do I need to call and ask for the credit steps or they offer it?
thank you
