Hi, all. Just a report on my recent upgrade from CO Platinum to Quicksilver...
Approved for the Platinum on 10/30/17 with a SL of $1000, credit steps. My FICOs were in the 700-720 range with around 3 inquiries per report. No derogitories, aaoa 3 years, but that was inflated by a 16 year old closed account still on file. CO triple-pulled. I burned them (paid charge-off) in 1996, no relationship since then.
I ran between $600-800/month through the card.
Months 1 and 2 I paid the balance down to 2-4% prior to statement post, PIF.
Months 3 and 4 and allowed the full balances to post (50-60% Util.) then PIF.
Requested the upgrade every month after statement post, no go until today.
Today I made the request via online chat and was approved.
My current scores are in my sig below. Big drops due to new accounts, too many inquiries and 50% utilization. I was a little surprised that they approved the upgrade. It's been a roller coaster ride for me since I started my rebuild last fall. I think my FICO's have bottomed out, and I'm really looking forward to watching them grow over the next year. I'm gardening until 12/18. Thanks to all on this forum for the support!
That is great. QS is a excellent card.
Congrats on your upgrade!
I just got the same upgrade today after opening the Platinum in October lol, that's too funny that we had the exact same scenario happen at the same time (only difference is my scores are below 630 but I'll get there).

Congrats! Feels almost like a "big boy" card now, doesn't it?
