Capital One Reporting

i have A capital One secured card with 300 I had the card for since September everything being going great til they told me the my bill was due on January 5 which mean no payment is due in December so didn't make A payment and they reported my balance which was only 86 dollars and it drop my scored by 8 points what can I do

Pay in full by next due date, so they next report a zero balance.

You  can stop worrying about it. Utilization has no memory.  When they report next time with lower balance, your points will be back.
