My Walmart account previously serviced by Synchrony is finally on my Capital One account.
I noticed my credit limit stayed the same. Also all transferred card holders will receive the signup bonus of 5% in walmart stores when using walmart pay which is a nice gesture.
I've never been a fan of Capital One bank since their business model is preying on the poor, but here's to a new start.

If by poor you mean sub-prime, Cap One tends to be one of the better options for credit building vs. Credit One, 1st Premier, Continental Finance, etc. For a business model preying on the poor, go after the payday loan racket.
It should be interesting to see how general WalMart clientele line up with Cap One's underwriting. I still think Synch should've introduced a secured version of the Wal Mart card (similar to their Amazon secured). It may have been enough for Synch to hold onto the portfolio.

How did you get your Sync Walmart to show up in Cap One already? On the 14th you're supposed to be able to use https://walmart.capitalone.com/ to link it in, doesn't work for me yet.
I'm fine with Capital One, they've always been very good to me, and I agree there are far more predatory sub prime lenders, Cough, cough Credit One . . .

Poor? Are you saying only people who are poor need subprime cards? There are some people out there who make 100K a year, but they have jacked up credit and need a Cap One platinum to get started again. Bad credit does not equal poor. And rich does not equal good credit.

Got it! When you go to walmart.capitalone.com you get a choice of "I have Capital One online account" or "Setup my account", clicking I have an account didn't work for me, but "setup" did find my Walmart account and added it to my Cap One accounts. But a few glitches: credit line shows as $10k but $0 available credit, and the last transaction is 9/27, my $138.xx in store purchase Friday 10/4 via Walmart Pay doesn't show up as pending transaction. Gee, maybe I got a free shopping trip out of this! More likely Sync is still handling authorizations over the weekend and will hand them off to Cap One Monday.

Was just able to add mine to my Capital One account using the same "setup" method. Also showing correct credit line but zero available, too. Got a tidy -$0.06 balance due to a bit of unredeemed rewards leftover from Synchrony.
My account didn't show up automatically so just followed these steps
log into cap one
if multiple accounts choose one
click "i want to"
under account settings
click "link accounts"
follow prompts
Noticed my payment due date changed from the 1st to the 5th.
Migration obviously still in process but they've already captured my transactions from last month, including statement reward that just posted on the 9th.
