I'm logged in as of now, and do not see the "switch accounts" option. Everything seems to be normal.

Today is the last day to log in before it closes tommorrow at 3Smiley TongueM ET. Before reopening on the 24th.

Also hope that everyone has paid their bill, as no payments will be accepted during this transition. Except by mail.

Hmmm, Sync Walmart site still working this morning (10/10), so far . . .  Yep I paid last statement balance early as my statement day is the 13th, during the transition. I do have the 'switch accounts" option, but that's for my previous Walmart store card that I reported lost a year or so ago, I can switch to it but it is $0 balance $0 credit available.

Doh, yeah the switch cards option was there for me too, my old Store card as well that's closed. I thought a post above mentioned about the option of switching accounts between SYNCH and Cap1.

Nothing changed for me over the past couple days except yesterday the 'request more' feature was gone.  Other than that, saw no link to switch accounts or anything leading me to C1.

From https://www.walmart.com/cp/walmart-credit-card-transition/3559436?

Starting October 14, enroll with Capital One to manage your account and pay your bill online at walmart.capitalone.com.

If you already have a Capital One account you just log into it, if you don't have a Cap One account you'll need to create one, or download the Capital One app for your phone. I have a Walmart store card, the 5% rewards paying with the store card or MC with Walmart Pay starts tomorrow, 10/11, I plan to try it.

Re: Capital One Walmart cards launching Sep 24th

Well, I made a Walmart run today and used my existing Walmart store card with Walmart Pay. Hopefully it earned the 5% rewards, just nowhere to see it until Monday 10/14 on Cap One.

I'm thinking, and hoping the rewards detail will be much better on Cap One. Synchrony just gave you a credit on the statement day with no detail on what made up the credit amount, such as how much rewards you earned per purchase. It also made it hard to pay in full to get a $0 balance reported because you'd end up with a credit balance from the auto posting of rewards. My Quicksilver & Savor cards show rewards by purchase, so hopefully Cap One will do that for Walmart, and they've already said you redeem rewards when you want instead of auto posting it.

Some data points:

-Just applied. Approved for the Cap One Walmart Mastercard with a whopping $300 limit. (At least I got my foot in the door???)

-Largest Bank Card NFCU $15k, Have Kohl's w/$600 limit. Have 5 inquiries on EX. Have around 40% utilization on all cards.

-They pulled Experian only. According to MyFico, my Experian score is 675. According to Cap One, it's 645.

-Had to verify identity by sending a picture of the back of my driver's license.

-I may have had better luck if it stayed Synchrony. I have a $2800 limit Synchrony DP Power card.

That's about the SL I would expect form Cap1 anyways. Smiley LOL

However, considering your score and thin profile I would tend to think that SYNCH wouldn't have bent over backwards to go much higher.

Only time will tell

The 5% back is pretty awesome although kinda lame it only lasts for a year. I already got $27 in rewards since they switched over from synchrony.

I'm at just over $30 in rewards in less than a month, loving it! My Walmart store card has a $10k CL and for quite some time I was just using it for a small in store purchase with $100 cash back/over to keep it active, 1% in store badly didn't cut it, I can 3% rewards minimum on other cards.

Meh, we'll see if Cap One really goes back to only 2% in store next Oct., Walmart won't like that with Target giving 5% discount even on their debit card and there's a number of Amazon 5% cards. I'm thinking Cap One will analyze it and see if they get enough interest from balance carrying cardholders to subsidize the 5% rewards.
