Capital One executive office/etc contact information?

Does anyone happen to have a fax number or email address for Capital One's executive office or other higher-ups? I have two accounts with them, and one has my right personal info, but the other one is out of date.

I've been trying to get them to correct it for over a month now, faxing documents into their fraud prevention department etc - and they have the one account correct, but they keep not updating the other one. I've called them up many times and had them transfer me to a supervisor who said she noted the issue and would have them fix it by the end of the day. That was two weeks ago, and as of about an hour ago, magically, the one account still doesn't show the right info.

I'm pretty tired of faxing the exact same papers to the exact same fax number time after time with absolutely no results, so I'm hoping someone might have higher up contact information so I can get someone to get the problem fixed.

Ironically the account that I plan to close (my secured card) is the one that has the right info - the one that I want to keep open (my regular unsecured Platinum account) has the wrong/old info on it. But their fraud prevention department only has one fax number (that like 6 different people gave me on the phone on different occasions), won't accept mail sent to them, and has received my faxes literally half a dozen or more times, with no result yet. Getting pretty tired of dealing with them, hoping there might be a higher up to contact.

What personal info is wrong?  Is it something you can change online?  Can you view your secured card with your regular one on the site?  I'm asking because I have 2 Cap One cards but they're linked, with the same info, on the site.  Your situation sounds frustrating.  I'm sorry you're going through it.

Had to get a card updated from a tax ID number to using my social. So it makes perfect sense that they ask for a copy of my driver's license, my social security card and something showing my address, just to make sure it's actually a legitimate request.

What doesn't make sense is that they asked for me to fax the info in 3 times so far, I've spoken to like 6+ people about it on the phone, and the last time (2 weeks ago) I ended up getting the call escalated to a supervisor who said she didn't know why the account wasn't updated when she saw (somewhere) that the faxes had been received as of two weeks before that. Promised she'd have the account notated and fixed by the end of the day and I thought she actually meant it.

That was October 31, and when I called last night, surprise surprise, that card hasn't been updated.

So it's not something I can really update online, and they said there's only ONE fax number to send the documents to. They can't accept anything via mail since it's a privacy risk (true enough). So having two cards reporting different information is always fun, now I can't pull a TU or EQ report online since they're locked out since they can't "confirm my identity". That's going to be the next part of my fun, calling theri customer service and trying to get someone there to help me get that fixed.

So I'm hoping that Cap One can get things fixed on their end (hah!) first, then I can fight with the CRAs about it. It's just frustrating to get 'supervisors' who are just as clueless (and ultimately useless) as the rest of their reps.

Re: Capital One executive office/etc contact information?

i had the same issue, i sent something like 10 faxes to them on my new card, because they wanted it to verify the card wasnt fraud....

Well they always reported they never got it....

finally i got a supervisor on the line, and i told them i was going to email a PDF of the fax to them, and they can do with it what they want, send it to the proper department.

Needless to say that the card was closed (after being open for 2 months)

I turned around and applied again with cap 1....

They gave me a better card with higher CL with no problems x.x

I just don't really want to apply for a new card from them, until I get everything in order to get a Venture. I don't want another low-limit high-APR card with an AF.

And in any case, I just don't want the account reporting incorrect/out of date info to the CRAs, since it's that much more of a headache that I'll have to deal with to get things fixed.

I don't want to badmouth Cap One too much, at least they gave me my first (unsecured) card when I had nothing to show on my credit history. But the incompetence of their customer service reps, account specialists, supervisors and 'identity fraud prevention department' has been a frustrating experience. First they mislead me about their secured card and kept giving me different information about it unsecuring (which I guess it never will), and now having to deal with them not receiving faxes when I send them.

And I know the fax works, everyone else has been getting my faxes just fine.

Re: Capital One executive office/etc contact information?

Let me guess. You got the "I understand your frustration, but...." speech. I have had so many issues with Cap 1. I will give them that they were the first to approve me unsecured after BK. But, I have 2 accounts with them and neither are going anywhere. I have talked to sup, acct specialist, and gotten nowhere with some of the issues I have had. If closing account wasnt such a credit ding. These cards would be gone.

I will look through and see if I can find anyone's fax/ext that I have delt with but good luck gettting anywhere with them. I can barely understand anyone they put on the line. They outsources call centers all over the world and have yet to get ahold of anyone in the US.

Yeah, that was basically what they said. Sorry, but we're not actually going to try to do anything, just keep faxing the same docs in every week, call us, get told we don't have them, fax them in again, wait anothe week, rinse and repeat.

The supervisor I finally got through to was at least easy to understand, she sounded like an older lady with no real regional accent. But she didn't didn't get anything resolved.

Re: Capital One executive office/etc contact information?

Well I just missed a call from their Executive Office (damn lunch keeping me from my phone!) so I'm supposed to give them a call back regarding my 'concerns'. I guess that's exactly what I wanted, but it feels a lot more intimidating when it comes down to it.
