Ever since I got Capital One Platinum in April (which was upgraded to QS recently).
I noticed, when I charged (5 times), it does not post on my account maybe 4 or 5 days later (in the meantime, it shows $0 balance). Today it finally shows up $152 balance which I promptly paid in full this morning.
My Barclay posts like a day or 2. Discover is pretty quick. Can't answer for Merrick since I don't use them and it will be closed in August and my future wife's AmEx BCE posts right away which I like.
So my question is, is that normal for Capital One? I admit it's kinda annoying compared to other cards.
Your thoughts?
Thanks and have a great day!
Cheers!

I called Cap1 on this exact issue. I could run almost 2.5 times through my cards with them if they posted faster. They told me that they wait the 4-5 days that the place I charged with has to post this to their account. Some banks play the odds in less disputes. Hit them up on chat, they can explain it better. It sucks, but it is what it is.

I find it varies over all of my accounts, some charges go through in a day or two, some 3 or 4 days.
