I have both BofA (MC) and Capital One (Visa). Like them both, which is why they're my only two active cards. But BofA, in particular, has never been stingy about CLIs. In fact, there have been many times where I felt overextended and feared a reduction, but they've never done that to me. Currently, my BofA sits at $13,600 max, and the Capital One is at $6,500. For the record, I've never requested a CLI from BofA, but they just granted them automatically to me as my balance increased. I think I requested it once with CapitalOne, and they turned me down ... but it's OK because it has a slightly better rate and I earn rewards on it.
