Capital one PC success!

I emailed EO a few times in the past few months for a CLI and they were granted on my two cap one cards... one was platinum rebuilder with current limit of $1250 and a cash rewards with $1500... so I emailed them again last monday to get the AF removed, pc my platinum to venture and possibly another cli.(since my score upped 30 points since)... I got a call yesterday and told them my concerns and she said she will get back to me within 5-7 days.... I checked tonight and looks like they pc'd me to venture with 2 miles per dollar!!!! i thought there's a min credit limit on venture??? am hoping I get the cli I wanted.... and theyll be able to remove the annual fees.. am loving Cap one EO right now.... chase and cap one are the two banks that are taking risks on me.... just love them!

Re: Capital one PC success!

Congrats to you im also loving CAP1 for the way they treated me as well as other.

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Capital one PC success!

You probably won't be able to get them to remove the AF on the Venture since it's supposed to have an AF because of the generous rewards structure. But it's a good card, so I'm happy that you were able to get it. Congrats on the PC and enjoy your new Venture! Smiley Happy

But as far as the credit limit, does this mean I have a good chance of getting an increase???

I would give it a shot. You have nothing to lose and the Cap1 EO seems to be in a giving mood lately.

Re: Capital one PC success!

Question for you? When you say E-mail the executive office where do you find that E-mail address? I need to do some begging for a CLI and don't want to get wasted at the front door.

Re: Capital one PC success!

Is that the best way to get a request in? I never thought to try and E-mail the CEO directly?

Re: Capital one PC success!

The min limit for venture (2%)is 5k according to the website, but that might not be a requirement for a PC.

Re: Capital one PC success!

Congrats on your PC kobe, I was wondering what wording did you use in the email in regards to PC for the CapOne Platinum card? Also, how long have you had the card for? I would like to make an attempt at PCing my Platinum to another card maybe the Venture or CashRewards card? Thanks for help and once again congratulations!

Rebuilding...been out of the game for a minute. Now, after suffering I'm back with greater wisdom. Scores: Currently @ around 6 teens to 20's, across all three EQ,TU, EX
