I want to transfer some of my credit line from my Capital one Savor card to my capital one Venture card with the 15 month 0 interest. I tried asking for a credit limit increase on the Venture card but they only offered a $100 increase ( the card is on 3 months old.) Anyone know if I transfer my credit line will it affect the introductory 15 months 0% interest on my Venture one card.
I assume you just opened the new designed Savor with the $250 sub/0% APR for 15 months? Bc I also did as well and am in a similar position. I opened my Venture for the sub on July 9th and on Sept. 9th I was able to shift credit limits around, meaning it's at least 2 months of account age before you can get the transfer credit limits offer. My Savor came in the mail today and am deciding whether to wait and see if I'll get the same transferring options at month 2, or PC it now and risk getting offer barred for 6 months.
however I did transfer credit should with my Venture at month 2 after opening it and a week later I got a CLI and a week later I was still able to transfer credit to and from it. So idk
No I had the Savor one card for over a year now it started with a $10k limit.
I just opened the venture one card 3 months ago and it has the 15 months 0% interest but only has a $1100.00 limit I wanted to transfer $2000.00 to the venture one but not lose my 0% interest for 15 months
Changing the CL on the newer Venture card should not affect any of the conditions/promos that were granted when you got it.
Hopefully, you will be allowed to reallocate your CapOne limits accordingly.
Has your profile changed from when you got the SavorOne vs the VenOne?
