Re: Capital one update

I won't be changing over from my CapOne Platinum MC to a Quick Silver.   I get  2% on gas and groceries and 1% on everything else (cash back) plus no annual fee.  This was my first card when I started rebuilding last year. I started at 200 and cli increased automatically to 500 in 6 months (steps program).  Then 1 month after completing a year of perfect payment hx with capone,  I was able to get a cli to 5k by contacting the EO. That would have never happened if it weren't for the great folks on this board Smiley Happy

Does anyone else have the same perks with their CapOne Platinum MC?

Re: Capital one update

My Cap 1 has a 19.9% rate. For those of you that have requested and received a lower APR, what has it gone down to?  My Orchard account (now Cap 1) is $14.9%. Scores are going up so I'm hoping my rates will start going down.

Pre-Credit Rebuild Scores Pre-DC (3/24/22) - EQ - 524 / TU - 519 / EX - 495

Current Scores - EQ - 687 / TU - 663/ EX - 677

TD Bank - $5000 / Mercury - $5000 / Capital One Savor One- $5000 / SDFCU Secured - $4990 / Capital One QuickSiver - $4500 / Ally Master Card - $2800/ Walmart Mastercard - $2250

Re: Capital one update

My APR was initially 19.8%. I requested a lower one over the phone and the CSR offered me 15.9% for 7 months, then back up to 19.8%. Sent an email to the EO requesting a lower APR (among other things). Recieved a call back from them on Tuesday and am waiting for the final result of my request. Should be any day now...

Re: Capital one update

Could someone pm me too please? I've had the same $320 credit limit with orchard Bank (now Cap One) since 2009. But my credit has been rough. Just looking for a little bump for DTI. I've tried back door numbers but couldn't get thru.

Nope, they made sure to tell me it would be a soft inquiry so no need to worry.
