I recently had my BOA Cash Rewards CLI from $500 to $1.9K and apped for the AMEX BCE approved for $7.5K. I tried to get a CLI on my Capital One card from $400 they declined my request! My account is ineligible right now and they are evaluating account activity at assigned credit limits. Any suggestions for my next steps? This is my oldest card and my first! No auto CLI ever. Should I just close this account? No rewards and it has an AF of $39/yr. I just don't want it to hurt my AAoA.
***** UPDATE******
I contacted the EO, PC to the Quicksilver Rewards Card and removed my AF completely. Another CLI request was made and she asked me a few questions regarding income, home value, etc. Asked for a $5k increase agreed to accept partial. This is a SP so no harm in that. Should get a response within 7-10 days.
Thanks everyone for the input! I would have never figured this out on my own.
If it is costing you a annual fee and gives no benefits to you cancel it ASAP it won't affect your AAoA until after 10 years. It is better to close it now rather than later I would try to see if you could pc it to a non annual fee card first

Thanks! I really hate the card. I was more worried about my AAoA more than anything since it has the most history. Do you have any suggestions about who to contact about PC with capital one? Just call the back of card?
Hey dude. Try calling Capital One's EO and see if you can talk them into getting a CLI. If not, ask them to see what you can PC to. Best of luck man.

You wouldn't happen to have their number or email do you?

You should be able to PC that to a no annual fee quicksilver . Email the EO about it and they'll call you within 10 days .
Do you know of an email?
Thanks!
Just log into your online account. And click chat. They will help. I changed mine to no AF quicksilver. Plus got cli.
