Goodluck!
I don't think so. According to various web-based approval databases, my FICO is just fine... and I haven't even finished optimizing util yet. The 5 second advice is interesting though... I need to do it this fast for EX and TU to combine the inqs? Or maybe Chase limits the pulls within a few seconds? Does it hurt to do amex in-between if they are all within a few minutes?
Fill out the Chase and AMEX apps in separate browser windows. Pre-fill out the apps, then submit almost simultaneously. Then, immediately app the Freedom after the Chase decision.
Or maybe even do that with all three (in separate browser windows), then submit all at the same time.
No, that might not work. Chase may double pull for each app. Nevermind...
I agree with MJ. CSP then Amex, then Freedom.
Good luck, please update us with details of your successes when you app! ![]()
My opinion is 1) AMEX and the CSP at the branch for the $2k min spend for singup bonus and ask the banker if they can use the same HP for Freedom, although more than likely it'll still result in 2HPs anyways...never hurt to ask them if they can use the same HP at the branch.
You're looking good all the way IMHO, Dave!

My credit union did one HP (on EX) for my auto loan and a visa credit card at $5,000 CL. ![]()

+1 Great Advice! ![]()
Go for the CSP in the branch for the reduced spend option. More than likely, if you app the Freedom the same day and the same CRA is used, the 2nd inq will drop off as a duplicate. Best of luck! I can't wait to see the results. My advice was to... if inqs aren't an issue, actually go the Freedom/Amex route first and 3-6 months later go for the CSP with high Freedom usage and payments. I bet they'd dbl your initial starting CL on the CSP vs the Freedom.

I don't have access to a Chase branch, but the min spend for all 3 of these cards is over 3 months. I won't have any problem hitting the $3k csp spend requirement simply by putting my everyday spend on the card. The amex and freedom will be slightly trickier, since there are limited places i can use these cards without transaction fees, but over 3 months, it is still not very hard for me to do just with my normal spending patterns.
I don't think a branch csr would be in control of the number of hps anyway.

Okay. I guess I was referring to your credit profile in general (the charge off is presumably on your report). In this case, it doesn't hurt to apply anyways.
I don't know the specifics on inquiry consolidation; this is just AOR dogma.
As others noted, you can use the "multiple browser method." One Firefox, Chrome, and Safari if you're a mac, regular and private (that's enough for 6 apps). I've had issues with the 4-part Chase apps when doing both in regular mode because the signals get crossed.

And the only reason Freddom is last is based on CSP being approved first so then you can proceed to Amex then come back to Chase again in case of double pulls
+1
Thanks guys. Did CSP and Amex. Got $5k on CSP and $6.5k on Amex Everday. I have some threads in the approvals forum for these two. I think I will save the Freedom for later, since I don't really need it yet. I only took 1 HP from Chase and 1 HP from Amex, both on EX.
